Mission
Build awareness of image as a source of non-verbal communication.
Provide quality up-to-date presentation materials and photographs
for image professionals and businesses. Develop customized
presentations to meet the clients' unique needs. Deliver sensitive,
results oriented image consulting to men and women who are
ready to meet their challenges and succeed.
It's
our great joy to teach individuals how to dress appropriately
while developing a personal style that reflects their authentic
self.
History
Image Talks, LLC was founded in 2004 by Sandy
Moore and Rose Schroader as
the collaborative outgrowth of work begun in 2001. The results,
a series of PowerPoint ™ presentations and photographic
support materials designed to provide image professionals
with a resource for fresh and attractive training and presentation
materials that effectively communicate the messages and concepts
central to image management.
In
May 2004, Image Talks, LLC previewed its new, visually rich
image presentations and speaker support materials at the annual
conference of the Association of Image Consultants International.
Professional Image consultants from across the United States
and from international locations as diverse as New Zealand,
Singapore, Canada and The Netherlands have made the choice
to incorporate Image Talks, LLC presentation and speaker
support materials into their active training schedules.

In 2002, Image Talks, LLC developed training programs for
Dress For Success Oregon to help prepare volunteer shoppers
to effectively wardrobe clients. Training was initially delivered
in a traditional format relying on a rack of clothes to demonstrate
key concepts. Responding to the need to create a more portable,
effortless and streamlined approach, Image Talks, LLC created
their first 3 PowerPoint™
presentations. Participants trained with the new materials
were more actively engaged in the learning process, showed
increased retention of key concepts and had more fun. They
completed post training exercises in half the time and exhibited
a greater grasp of the material. Preparing for and delivering
the training became a more enjoyable process for us as well.
These outstanding results cemented a commitment to the use
of PowerPoint™ as an effective, creative training tool.
In
2001 Rose and Sandy began documenting their image consulting
work by creating a gallery of before
and after photographs. The value of the photographs
as a resource for effective, persuasive, engaging image management
training soon became evident. It was the enthusiastic response
of colleagues that encouraged them to make a collection of
images available as a resource for other image professionals.
Their commitment is to provide images that are fresh, regularly
updated and pertinent to today's needs.
